Social Media is anything that communicates about society, socialization, people, networks, cultures etc. Anything related to us being social animals. Social media does not only speak of online or internet & phone etc, its about ground, events, about you about me.
Haloween is a social event, pajama parties are social even kitties. All that carries weight is the numbers- how many people you know? how well are you networked? What is the weight of your voice in that network? 1 plus 1 is 2 - This is not true in social networking. XYZ person whenconnected to Me - the action is 1+1 but the result is maybe hundres, or thousands or even more. That is Network or all the people known by ABC + all people connected to Me.
